Man Utd manager Michael Carrick wants the Red Devils to sign Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to reports in Italy.
Writing on his personal website, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio said that Carrick “specifically want” the 26-year-old at Old Trafford.
Tonali is believed to have a “gentleman’s agreement” with the Magpies that he could leave St James’ Park after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
However, the Italy international will not be a cheap buy, with an asking price of around €100m (£87m).
What does Man Utd mean by pursuing Ederson?
It seems that Carrick’s team is getting closer to recruiting the Atalanta player. The Brazilian was not in the matchday squad for the 1-1 draw against Fiorentina on Friday night. Asked about his absence after the game, head coach Raffaele Palladino said:
“Ederson is absent because big clubs are after him. It was a decision we agreed with the kid because there was something at the transfer market level.”
Although the midfielder is likely to move to Manchester, Di Marzio said interest in Tonali “does not depend on Ederson.”

Midfield transfer funds can be spent in full immediately
United are claimed to have set aside around £150 million to strengthen the club’s options in midfield. If Ederson ends up costing £46m (like several others report suggested), then the remaining funds could be used to recruit Tonali.
Many have questioned whether Director of Football Jason Wilcox spent too much money on the two players, but it is believed he wants to complete the deal early in the summer, preferably before the World Cup.
With Tonali absent from the tournament after Italy failed to qualify, the Red Devils could need more time to negotiate the transfer.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
